The requirement
Semiconductor fabrication is where filtration specification stops being a matter of choosing a grade and becomes a matter of installation detail. At these tolerances, air leaking around a filter frame is a bigger contributor than air passing through the media.
That is why terminal filter sealing method is a first-order decision here, not a preference. A correctly graded filter in a poorly sealed housing does not deliver its rated performance.
Gel seal terminal filters
A gel channel eliminates the bypass path at the filter-to-housing joint, which is the failure mode that defeats an otherwise correctly specified installation.
Filtration beyond standard HEPA
Super HEPA filters remove ultra fine particulate above what a standard H13 will hold, for processes operating at the limit of what filtration supports.
Verifiable performance
DOP test ports allow installed filters to be challenged in place, so performance is measured rather than assumed.
