Who we are
MAP FILTERS (INDIA) PVT. LTD. is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. Our corporate office is at Office No 809, 8th Floor, Kamdhenu 23 West, Kopar Khairane, Mahape, TTC Industrial Area, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400705, India. You can reach us at marketing@mapfil.com or +91 89560 50201.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, company, phone number, email address, the product or service you are asking about, and your message. We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and to quote for the work. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.
We keep enquiry records for three years from your last contact with us, because a cleanroom or filter supply is usually followed by service, spares and re-validation, and the original specification matters then. After that they are deleted.
When you browse the site
Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs - IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp - which exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse. These are kept short-term and are not used to build a profile of you.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) records which pages you view, roughly where you are in the world, your device and browser, and whether you clicked to call, email or download our catalogue. It helps us see which pages are useful. Until you accept, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage switched off and no analytics cookie is written.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in search results. It works from Google's own data, sets nothing on your device, and shows us aggregate figures only.
Cookies
This site sets no cookie of its own. The only cookies are Google's analytics cookies, and only after you accept them. Declining costs you nothing - every page, the catalogue and the enquiry form work exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time, here:
Withdrawing consent stops further collection. To have data already collected deleted, email privacy@mapfil.com. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
Who else sees your data
Enquiries reach our sales and engineering team and the systems we use to manage them. Analytics data is processed by Google, which may process it outside India. We do not share personal data with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we shared it with;
- correct anything inaccurate, complete anything missing, or update anything out of date;
- erase your personal data where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for;
- register a nominee who can exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
Write to privacy@mapfil.com and we will act on it. Please be accurate and specific in your request - the Act places that duty on you, and a vague or false request slows down everyone's.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:

Security
