About Sampling Booth
A sampling booth, also called a powder sampling booth or containment booth, is an enclosure for the safe and controlled sampling of powders, granules and similar materials. It matters most in pharmaceutical work, where taking a sample can expose an operator to a harmful substance or expose the batch to contamination.
Booths are built as a closed structure in stainless steel or powder coated steel, using materials that resist chemicals and clean easily.
What it does
Airflow control
A controlled airflow system maintains a clean and safe working environment inside the enclosure.
Filtration
HEPA filters capture airborne particles and keep the air inside the enclosure clean. The filters are manufactured in our own facility.
Cleanable surfaces
Smooth, easily cleanable surfaces in high grade stainless steel or other non-porous materials, with integrated lighting.
Operator safety
Protective gloves or gloves with attached sleeves, and interlocking doors that prevent accidental contact with hazardous material.
Control panel
Operator control of airflow and lighting, with monitoring of filter position, airflow velocity and pressure differential.
