About Fine Filter
Fine filters capture the smaller particulate that gets past a pre filter: bacteria, mould spores, fine dust and other allergens. They are suitable for use as filter grades F5 to F9 of EN779 and MERV 8 to 15 of ASHRAE 52.
In a cleanroom train they are the second stage, protecting the final HEPA. In commercial and healthcare buildings they are frequently the last stage, and are what determines the air quality occupants actually experience.
