About Horizontal LAF
Laminar air flow work stations create a bacteria and dust free air space. The work area is continuously supplied with positive pressure HEPA filtered air, which prevents contamination reaching the work area from the operator or the room. They are intended for work with low risk substances and materials.
In the horizontal configuration the airflow moves across the work surface toward the operator. Unidirectional flow removes particles and microorganisms from the working area, which is what keeps product quality consistent. Units are used in electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical laboratories and cleanrooms, in standard and custom sizes.
